Korkowski Kith and Kin
Welcome to the comings and goings of the Korkowski families. On this blog, we celebrate all the important days, and even the mundane days, of the Korkowski family living near and far. It's our way of staying connected...

The last 24 hours of 2014.........
Wishes to all of you for a happy and healthy new year.....2015! Wow, wasn't it just recently we all worried about the changes from 1999 to 2000? I remember people staying up all night because they were worried about their computers, airline reservations, etc? Go to sleep tonight and you don't have to worry about any of those things.....Happy New Year everyone!!

Decadence.....then dieting!
At this time of year, eating way TOO much rich food is just part of life, so here's one more to-die-for dessert that Evan and I made for his birthday last month. He loved making it (as in easy) and it was delicious to boot....brother Isaac finished his piece and then proceeded to pick up his plate and lick every single morsel left. Cheers to chocolate, caramel and whipped cream!!!

A holiday celebration.......
The Roers' siblings and mom celebrated their Christmas earlier this month, rather than the usual Christmas Eve as in years past, by having dinner at Duffy's in Glenwood. It was a big outing for mom after the broken hip, surgery, and then rehab but she is doing great and got all dressed for the occasion........

A biker's memories........
For the guy who pretty much has what he wants...or needs....it's sometimes difficult to come up with a good gift idea, but this year (thanks to Jen's suggestion on using Paul's biking pictures), we hit a home run! After lifting the pictures needed to complete the print, Shutterfly's canvas collage was wonderful.....so good in fact, I think we need one for OUR house :) So, for others who need an idea, this may be good for you as well......(And, the little symbol in the lower left corner with the gold ! is simply Shutterfly wanting a finer resolution, which I ignored.)
